Explore Western Australia’s Pinnacle Desert on a guided full day from Perth to the Australian Outback to sample delicious food, wine and chocolate before watching the sunset go down over the desert and enjoy a unique dinner under the stars! The tour begins with a scenic drive to Swan Valley to visit the Gombok Gallery Sculpture Park – the largest private collection of outdoor sculptures by international and Australian artists. The next stop on this tour is Coward and Black boutique winery to sample the delicious food and wine before heading next door to the Margaret River Chocolate Factory to taste chocolate. There is even a stop at the House of Honey to sample their range of locally made products. The next stop is your chance to be active and get your adrenaline going by trying some sand boarding at the Lancelin Sand Dunes. Climb the three storey high sand dunes and then zip down the dunes on custom made boards whilst all the action is captured on the drones that are recording you from up above. Even if you aren't interested in sand boarding, this makes for a great photo opportunity and it is fun watching others fly down the dunes.
After the excitement of sand boarding, the tour travels to Ngilgen lookout via the scenic Indian Ocean Drive for a slower paced walk through the wildflowers. The final stop of the tour is The Pinnacles Desert where you will have plenty of time to walk through the unique rock formations in the afternoon before enjoying a picnic dinner on the observation deck under the stars. As the evening winds down, you will have time to relax and enjoy some stargazing in desert. Without the light pollution from the city, you will have a fantastic view of the night's sky with telescopes giving you a closer view of the planets and the Milky Way. Tours depart from Perth every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday between 11am- 12pm and return late in the evening. This full day tour is the best way to comprehensively discover WA's outback without having to worry about driving. Relax and enjoy the scenery on the full day tour to The Pinnacles from Perth!
Amazing day from start to finish
Amazing day from start to finish. The tour company collected us from outside our air bnb accommodation which was appreciated (especially as its a long day - 11 hours!) We visited a chocolate and honey factory as well tasted a few wines and liquors. The sand boarding was great fun and is for all ages, it wasn't busy so we had the dunes to ourselves. We stopped at a couple of beaches and viewpoints which were great. The pinnacles were unreal, nice to walk around and watch the sunset. the bbq dinner was nice and fresh - soft drinks and wine served as well. The stars were beautiful and the guide was very knowledgeable. Would recommend for all.
Was a good day
Was a good day! Good trip, it’s a long day but is broken up so doesn’t feel like you are constantly in the minivan. The tour guide was nice (quite a bit nice) he was very informative and told us about the different stars. The pinnacles were amazing, extraordinary to see - def recommend a visit. We also visited the chocolate factory and tasted some wines.
